About Esther


Raised in Toronto, Esther is an actor, director and producer currently living in New York City.

Recent credits include:

Theatre - Universal Robots (manhattantheatresource), The Occupation of Heather Rose (LivingRoomArts), Metamorphoses (Weston Playhouse), My Children! My Africa! (A Mixed Company), and Migration (Intravenous Theatre).

Film and television - Law & Order: SVU, The Acting Class and F (Offical Selection: Montreal World Film Festival).

Esther is a founding member and co-artistic director of the New York-based Bridge Theatre Company, where her credits include: Spain (Beth), Humans Anonymous (Ellen), This is a Play (Female Actor), Down the Road (Iris) and Portland (Assistant Director). Recently, Esther directed Beth Henley’s Am I blue for the Manhattan Repertory Theatre, and co-produced an evening of one-acts in New York for the Toronto-based Absit Omen Theatre.

A graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Esther has appeared on-stage in Toronto at the Tarragon, ArtWord and Theatre Passe Muraille, as well as in the Fringe and Summerworks festivals.
